National Papercrafting Month 2017

Happy New Year! Every January at CTMH, we celebrate National Papercrafting Month as a way of acknowledging the pure joy of playing with paper! We scrapbook with it, we make cards with it, we decorate with it—in short, we craft with it!  If this is the kind of crafting we can accomplish, it promises to be a great crafting year – just take a look!

This year, we’re celebrating the joys of paper-crafted home décor with the beautiful Welcome Home wreath kit. This kit comes with pre-cut pieces you can simply pop out and attach to the sturdy chipboard wreath base, making a welcoming décor piece for your home. Yes, you can create this – all the pieces to make this are included, ready, precut, for you. Just assemble, add your own touch and words using the gold letter alpha included and voila – beauty for your home made by you!

Here’s a short, one-minute video showing how the assembly is performed (and personally, I really like the quilling tool for flower making they show in the video – handy and efficient, less stress than hand rolling).

There are four ways you can get the wreath kit:

  1. Buy it for $18.95—no qualifying purchase required!
  2. Get it for free with a qualifying $60 purchase!*
  3. Get it for free by hosting a party that reaches the second level of Hostess Rewards.
  4. Get it for free when you sign up to be a Consultant!

No matter how you get your Welcome Home wreath kit—or how many you get—you are going to love how easy this kit makes it to add a little more papercrafted beauty to your life.

*$60 qualifying purchase must be full-priced retail product not including tax and shipping.
Offer valid January 1 – January 31, 2017 while supplies last. Normal shipping/handling & tax apply.

Out of the cloud, Part 2

Previous post started my little nudge to you getting your pictures/memories out of the cloud and into albums.  At CTMH this month’s special making that a little easier (and less expensive).  CTMH has teamed up with a photo processing company, Persnickety Prints, to offer special pricing for prints that will fit the special albums. They use the “silver halide” archival quality process to print your pictures, too. I researched their quality and customer service – both have received excellent reviews, which I would expect from a CTMH partner. 🙂

The album bundles are complete with everything you need from pre-printed images, overlays and page protectors, ready for adding your prints.  So here are some pictures and links to get you going on getting pics off the cloud to float around and into albums to share around!

Making memories with you,

Get your photos out of “the cloud”

I am speaking to myself, mind you, but are you there with me? So many beautiful memories but with all the digital world around us, we’ve left our memories “in the cloud” rather than printing them. Let me encourage you to bring back your albums and share them this Christmas with your family and friends.

If you are in need of help with any ideas or supplies, I hope you will contact me.  Here is the December CTMH special – and it is just right for getting your digital photos out into the open – 30% off the smaller albums in bundles!

So often it’s the little things that matter most—and what better way to celebrate the little things in life than with an adorable mini album? We’ve bundled some irresistible mini-album products together at great prices to make it easier than ever to make a mini album celebrating all those little things that mean so much! Choose the Blush or Blue Jean mini album bundle with adorable square pocket cards, overlays, and Memory Protectors™ or the Adventure mini album for a larger mini album, including 6″ × 8″ hole-punched decorative pages and your choice of coordinating Memory Protectors. The Blue Jean and Blush mini album bundles are available for just $18.95 USD/$24.95 CAD each—that’s 30% off the retail value of $27.75 USD/$35.75 CAD The Adventure mini album bundle can be yours for just $19.95 USD/$25.95 CAD—also a savings of 30% off the retail value of $29.85 USD/$38.25 CAD!

Cardmaking Facebook Party !

Let’s use technology and make our life a little easier, right? Crafting with friends is such a fun activity but we have so many things to do and places to be that scheduling time to go one more place, even for fun can be hard. Well, by using technology now we can craft “virtually!” I have decided to try my hand at an online Facebook Party to teach and make cards with you. 🙂

For those that could not make the Card Buffet, I will be sharing those very same cards. Join my “Card Buffet Facebook Party” event (even in your favorite jammies if you want) and let’s craft, learn techniques, share and laugh together using the capabilities of Facebook! I’ve got the party set up for this coming Monday, Sept. 26, from 8-10pm. By joining the event, you can come and go as you need to even after the party is over since using FB also allows you to go back and view the discussion posts and photos

If you are local, you can come by and pick up a sample card kit that includes 2 of the cards shown plus two of the 3×3 card bases, with pre-stamped images. Contact me to let me know which cards you would like to make from the four regular sized ones in the photo below. I will try to use Facebook Live to stream and share how the all cards are put together. Use your own supplies to make similar cards. There will be games with prizes and a raffle for a grand prize as well! I will showcase some of the new products using the online Close To My Heart Idea Books and show you some of the things you can create with them. Feel free to invite more friends to come along and join the fun!

You will find the link on my Facebook page (on the left sidebar) or this direct link. There I will be posting more info before the party as well. Hope to “see” you there!

Making memories with you … Debbie

Photos from Card Buffet

Rela quick I thought I’d post pictures of the cards we made at my Card Buffet. I really enjoyed having different styles in one sitting. I continued crafting and made a few extras for myself.   I want to give credit to follow consultant Lisa Stenz for the little box to hold the 3×3 cards, cut and scored on my Crciut Explore – so cute! Any other Cricut cuts you see were made with the new CTMH Flower Market or Artbooking cartridges.  I used the new CTMH Embossing Folder, Wood Slats, where you see the embossed look. The purple glitter paper is not from CTMH and there are some retired products.  Please contact me with any questions about these designs.
