Hi everyone! I am ok, but feel especially blessed to say so. ❤ During the month of May I had several indications of a possible problem in my heart but since it could also be indigestion I didn’t do anything about it until almost the end of the month. Within 2 days I was admitted to the hospital, tested, operated on, and now have 2 stents in my heart. Tomorrow I should hear more news but, like I said, I am feeling well, just need to know if I have to slow down or alter my lifestyle 🙂 Hopefully I’ll just have to take better care of myself but still be able to go a mile a minute as is my custom – LOL!
So, now for my travels… I am excited to say that it is time for Close To My Heart’s annual Convention – yay!! It will be part of my rehab to go and enjoy creating with like-minded friends, and soon-to-be friends, and learn more about CTMH as a business, too. Appreciate your prayers as I go, as well.
So what about CTMH? Well, you can always check my CTMH website for updates, especially when my blog here gets a little “dusty” from lack of updates, and the official CTMH blog, updated at least once a week 🙂 Speaking of which, look at this cute blog post about using up your ribbon stash in cute ways – love the fish idea, don’t you?
This month’s stamp of the month is just the cutest thing, called “A Bushel and a Peck” and I posted on my Facebook page a video of a diorama card a fellow consultant made with it. Here are the images and some sample cards (you can click on the image to see it bigger).
Well, that’s all I’ve got for now. Hope you have a great week!
One of the best techniques I like to use in stamping is called the “rock-n-roll” where a darker color is rolled on the edges of an image stamped first in a lighter color. Look at this hibiscus flower from the current Postcard Perfect stamp set, isn’t it just so cute?
Well this one lends itself so very well to this stamping technique. A very creative CTMH consultant, Brenda Rose, has a video ion her Facebook page showing how she uses two shades of pink to create a beautiful flower. The link is at the bottom of this post. She made a card using the flower & rock-n-roll technique in two shades of yellow. Look the finished product here – and the Mason jar is from the May (this month only) Stamp of the Month images 🙂 Absolutely gorgeous, right?!?
Hope you are inspired by this technique and artwork. Click here to go to my online shopping website if you are interested in purchasing the products here. Happy Crafting! ~Debbie

Pink is one of those colors that screams little girls but it can also be sophisticated for any age and any project. Take a look at this month’s “Pretty in Pink” special bundles and you will see what I mean:
From Bashful to Blossom, Pixie to Raspberry, there’s a shade of pink that will make your heart flutter. And speaking of flutter, one of the specials includes all the raw materials needed to create this gorgeous mobile (but you do need Cricut cartridges to make the specific images 🙂 )
With all my house construction, I sure wish I could invite you over to craft together but hopefully I will be able to do so soon! Follow my Facebook page for updates and until then,
