May is National Stamping Month

One of the best techniques I like to use in stamping is called the “rock-n-roll” where a darker color is rolled on the edges of an image stamped first in a lighter color.  Look at this hibiscus flower from the current Postcard Perfect stamp set, isn’t it just so cute?

Well this one lends itself so very well to this stamping technique. A very creative CTMH consultant, Brenda Rose, has a video ion her Facebook page showing how she uses two shades of pink to create a beautiful flower. The link is at the bottom of this post.  She made a card using the flower & rock-n-roll technique in two shades of yellow. Look the finished product here – and the Mason jar is from the May (this month only) Stamp of the Month images 🙂  Absolutely gorgeous, right?!?

Hope you are inspired by this technique and artwork. Click here to go to my online shopping website if you are interested in purchasing the products here.  Happy Crafting!  ~Debbie
